Correct spark plug gap?
Couldn't find it in the search, though I thinkthis was mentioned once before. What's the correct gap for spark plugs on a 2000 5sfe? I got some Denso platinum plugs (same as the OEMs)... Haynes says 0.034 but also says they're NGK plugs, AutoZone and the box I got say 0.044. Is there that much difference?
I gapped mine at 0.044 and it appears to run fine, but I was curious what it's supposed to be and even if there's a difference depending on what plug you get.
As an aside, it's pretty swell that Haynes "definitively" states that NGK plugs are OEM when in fact my plugs from the factory were Densos.
