Question Gen. 3 Dash light problems..it's such a pain..

hi everyone..
i've got my 94 Camry about three month ago.. I love it..
for now almost everything is stock and i have a few things i want to do to my car later, when i save up some money..
anyways.. i was riding around with friend of mind which he owns a gen 4 camry.. and he noticed that my cigarrette lights don't light up.. at first i thought they don;t light up at all..
so i took it apart and have a look at it and there was a light bulb attatched to lighter and it seem like it's stuck to a socket..
so i took it dealer and at the dealer they said i should get the light bulb with socket all together.. so i thought hey how expensive could it be right?..

the problem is at the dealer the guy said he can't order it for me because the lighter light bulb with socket don't show up on the computer.. and since they don't know the part numbr they can't order it for me.. what the hell? right..
did any of you had the same problem?..
i'm noticing how dark inside is at night...

I know it's not a big deal but i thought it would be nice to fix it..
so i been asking around for that lighter light bulb with socket and they all say go to dealer and at the dealer they tell me they have no idea because it donsen't show up in the computer..

anyway any ideas or any comments would be great..

thanks in advance..

Try the junkyard. I am sure theres not a whole bunch of people out looking for that bulb. I think thats the only place it is on the whole car...lol

Got the same problem... I recently changed my radio and realized there was a light bulb...

Turns out i opened my stock radio i had no use for and the same kind of bulb is used...without the socket.

You could get the bulb from your old radio unless you still use it...
