4th Generation

They may mean the VSV on the canister. It is a $48 part and usually throws a p0441 code when bad. It is an easy fix. You can, if you are so inclined, install the new one without removing the old from its mount.

They could also mean the vapor pressure sensor, also located on the canister. Get them to tell you which code you are throwing and post it here.

How about having them write down the code and part name so you can keep it straight ?

Someone here may know if you can bypass it. Sounds like a cheap part so why not fix it and clear your CheckEngineLight ?
