any interest for custom 3vz CAI's?

hello all, i am thinking about producing cold air units for the 3vz engine... just seeing how much interest there is.

i still need to check out details for all the specific pieces involved, but i have made 3 units prior to this, and i will be incorporating a new design with 16 gauge aluminized steel, maximized flow, and options for the AEM air bypass vavle.

the kit could run anywhere from $110-$160 (possibly sold through CTMotorsport, which i think for that price its a good alternative to mainstreamed brands. if anyone is worried about it looking ghetto, im going to make the prototype for my car and then post pics of it.

if there is enough interest in the 3vz, i will eventually move on to other engines like the 5sfe. hit me back with some feedback!! thanks guys!

jon

The group buy I had with ELP was for the 4cyl CAI (3SFE). Those ran for $160 plus shipping, which depleted interest from other Camry owners.

Without the group buy, they ran for $180, so what's 20 bucks?

Because they were pretty much the same range as buying it yourself, there was no interest.

I for one could use a CAI for my 2VZ and also for my 3SFE. I know one for the 3VZ would fit my Gen2.

If you keep the price attractive, they will come.
