Engine swap

I was thinking of swaping out my 94 v6 engine for a 97-00 v6 with less miles on it. I have over 147,000 miles on it now. How hard is it and is it worth it. If I do swap in the new engine I plan I getting the TRD Supercharger.

i don't know if the tranny patern on the 1mz and 3vz are the same

even if they are you'll need to replace everything associated with the ecu

possible but rediculously expensive

Possibly ridiculously expensive. If he already has the 1mz, it might cost less.

sorry for leaving this out but I believed that all 94 came with the 1mz. I forgot about the early ones with the 3vz. I have the 1mz in my car right now.

yeah, all 94's were 1MZ because that was the first year car to ever have OBD-II.... 3VZs are OBD-I
