none of the air filters will give you any noticible increase in HP

the drop in gives nothing, maybe save money in the long run

the cone ones will make noise, maybe making you think your car's accelerating faster, but its not

makes noise, that's about it

now if you have forced induction, its probably a good idea

if you make a CAI with cone filter (in the skirt) then you might get a bit more but not much (2-3)

Oldman got it pretty much. When I installed my K&N Drop-in, I didn't feel much extra kick at all. You could say I felt nothing at all. But, I save more gas now ( ) and more money saved is a good thing.

hey if it saves me gas i'll buy one just for that reason. my 6 cyl burns mad gas and i use it a lot. i could care less if it gave me a boost or not as small upgrades can't really expect big performance differences.

I was hesitant to put a cone filter in the camry...A lot of people said it wouldent do anything, and infact, it would be counter productive..

They couldent be more wrong..The Cone filter on my car makes a world of difference..The car is definatley quicker and there is an increase in throtle response, and it sounds sweet..

Trust me..Put one in, get used to it..And see, feel and hear the difference..

TRUST ME!!!

If you plan on putting other mods to your engine the air filter is great. If you're not planning on doing anything else then there's really no point on doing it though.

Before, I averaged around 20...now around 22. Not much, but a step in the right direction
