3VZ-FE internals anyone? (Pics)

Took these pics while rebuilding the 3VZ-FE for my MR2.

The internals.


Crankshaft with flywheel and pulley attached.


The stock conrod.


From left to right. stock 3VZ-FE rod, Eagle 1MZ-FE rod, stock 1MZ-FE rod.



Can't remember where I got that pic of Eagle vs stock rods.

I would turbocharge it..... later (maybe in a year or so ).

At the moment I would like to see how far it'll go with ported head and 11.0 - 11.5 compression.

Its a little on the heavy side but it can take more crap then the 1mzfe stock.Im building a kit for Mox's car in the next weeks and from what I can see its going to be one fun setup ..

The original plan was to find a 1MZ but the only 1MZ I can find around here comes from the Lexus RX300 or Toyota Harrier as it is known is some places, and they're pricey.

So it's on to the 3VZ. I wonder if some parts are interchangeable with the 1MZ.

i am very pleased to see someone finally gutting this engine!

as for being interchangeable, dont the 1mz and 3vz share the same valve pattern?? TRD supercharger anyone??

Wow, those rods looks amazing... you can probably clean them up a bit and they would take over 450 wheel horse

Oh well, I gotta work with what I have instead.. at least I am getting beefy internals anyway
