windshield washer jet frozen

My windshield washer dispensers are frozen. I tried to brush them and they still wont dispense the fluid. Any suggestions?

Is the washer pump working? Check the posts at the bottom of this page. If really frozen apply some heat via a hair dryer and use a fluid with more alcohol.

Yes, The washer pump must be working because the right jet is shơoting out a little bit of fluid, although at a misaligned direction due to frozen status I would believe. The left jet still doesn't shơot. I tried to poke a thread inside the hole and no luck in pushing it all the way. I could pull the car in the garage and apply heat with the hair dryer , but I am at someone else's house right now.

If you bring it inside the garage and pour hot water on it that might help. Make sure that right after you do it you try to get the nozzles to work or the water may freeze again then hit it with a hair dryer to dry it off . Also are you using a different type of washer fluid in the winter, the kind that doesnt freeze.

It is actually fluid from the summer that wasn't finished yet. I just emptied an entire container of winter fluid in the reservoir.

update: I brought the car into the garage. And not more than 5 minutes, the jets now shơot out fluid.

Try disconnecting the line at the nozel that is not working and see if you have fluid shoot out. If you have a stream then you know the problem lies with the nozel. If you still have nothing follow the washer line twords the pump and look for a break if the pump is working.

Im having this same problem with my 01 Tacoma, when the weather's warm the jets work fine but the minute it snows and the roads get sloppy, when I need them the most they dont work.

First, this thread is a year old, and second, this is the Camry forum not the Tacoma forum.

I don't know if this is an issue for Tacoma's or not since I don't have one, but if you want a definite answer you should ask there.
