Go to a auto parts store and pick up a haines manual for your camry, or else read it while in the store and write it down. My v6 camry is 156 inches/fơot torque or 17 ilbs/ fơot.

You can download the manual at the top of the forum. It will be in there.

Method I Use For tightening Spark Plugs - V6

Torquing the plugs works fine if you have the 4 cylinder, but not for a V6. There is NO -WAY you are getting a torque wrench in there for the back 3.
The method i use is
1. APPLY ANTI SIEZE COMPOUND,
2. then thread it in until you feel the threads catch the plug. If you encounter ANY resistance, stop NOW, remove plug, realign, try again.
3. tighten it down until you feel the plug gasket compress (the gasket is the round metal ring wobbling around on the new plug). tighten it and you will feel a sort of squish as it gets to the end of its travel.
4. Then a little more, firmly but DONT tighten it with every oz of strength you have, maybe half. Looser is better than tighter.
5. Start engine. If you hear a very loud PHHT-PHHT sound, either you need to change your diet or one or more spark plugs are too loose, so tighten it some more.
