Unhappy radio locked up

I changed out my battery in my 1997 camry and since I've done this I have not been able to listen to my radio.

Does anyone know where I can get the code to fix this or how I would do this without taking it to a dealer so he can charge me 40.00 to did this.

Thanks,
Billy

It should be in your manuel went you bought the car. I think it's a small card that has the code. Other then that I have no idea! Hope you find it.

Go to a different dealer. Go to the parts counter.

Usually the gen 4 Camrys have an anti-theft device built into the the stereo, and when this happens, there should be a card that has the actual code that has either came with your manual for the car when first purchased, or it should be within the information packet that came with the car. If not, there is really no choice than to call the dealer, pay their outrageous prices, and get it fixed.

If you are going to spend the $40 you might as well get a dirt cheap deck from best buy or something.

Or you can try looking for a used stock deck in ebay.com

Junk yard will probably have them too.
