Question v8 camry

would you all buy a v8 camry if it were available? why or why not. would it be too much weight added? or would it just not be nimble like the v6? i was thinking like something along the lines of vw's passat w8.

They'd be better off selling SCed V6s I think. Better gas mileage, probably around the same power?

exactly... the more cylinders the more internal friction.. hence the engine is less effiecient in terms of hp/L. the most efficient would be a turbo 4cyl... but id want the s/c'd v6 for reliability- and mostly TORQUE have you seen how torquey our 3vz's are in low rpms?? its mad!

I have some conenctions to the Vintage sports car club world and ther are a lot of MGB's out there that have the aluminum block Rover V8

http://www.new-cars.com/2003/land-ro...ery-specs.html

You could turbo or s/c this thing !easily! to 300HP and 350ft lb torque.

Here is what it looks like it MGB engine bay.

This engine is only 60 lbs heavier than the I4
