I have a system in my camry, and have no noise. i think you have a grounding problem. that is there most noise comes from. the other you you can try is turning down your gain. If it is up to high, it "listens" to hard to you rcas. you may even need to get a filter on your rcas. problem is, that will drop there voltage in half.
I think your installer is full of shi!t because I don't think any of our Camrys with systems in them have to deal with that sound, including mine. Tell him to look for a better ground.

u can double check ur ground maybe he grounded it on a painted surface... try grounding it in an unpainted surface... i dont got no buzzing in my system and its been on for 3 years now hehee ( sh*t time for an upgrade) hehee..
Make sure your power wires from your battery are on the OPPOSITE side of your rca cable from your headunit to the amp. If you put these anywhere close to each other all you hear is buzzing. Dont Take His Word 4 It! They dont see you, just the $$$.
HEY !! Im getting that same problem now too !!! Son of a bi*ch !! I re-grounded the amp twice now and still getting the problem.
The problem you are having might come from either the head unit or the amp. To find out whether or not its the amp or head unit do the following: Hook your ground for your amp directly to the negative terminal on the battery (just to test). If you still get the hum when u turn on your speaks then its your head unit that isnt grounded well. The best place to ground amps in my opinion is underneath the rear seat, but attach with CAUTION because in my Gen3 camry the frickin gas tank is located there !!!
Good luck..... and yes I think my problem is coming from the 4 gauge battery wire running next to my rca's !! Time for some re-wiring action !!!
just like everyone has been saying. humming noises are usually from a bad ground or electrical interference. check to see that your head unit is properly connected to the ground wire or grounded to a main bolt. check to see if your amps are properly grounded to an unpainted surface. you may need to sand the area down to get the paint off. also, run your power wire on the opposite side of the car that your RCA's and speaker wired are running on. lastly, check all terminal connections for proper contact. soldering connections takes some work but you are assured a strong connection.
