Paint jobs

I was wondering if you guys could post what you've paid or seen people pay to get full car paint job. Nothing spectacular, just regular paint job, like black... but something that will last (ie not chip, corrode, etc).

I want to get an idea of the range of prices that I can expect to pay for the job (materials + labour).

well down here in san diego,ca the estimates that I got for a full car paint job including inside door panels, inside trunk, and engine bay, costs and from $1500 to 2500.

i paid 1800 for the whole car paint job but the insurance covered for the front left part of it.. ( that's why i paid only 1800) C$ btw... color is red... 5 coats of clear coat i think could be more i gotta double check with my body man on that one... looks nice day or nite clean or dirty ( always clean though ehhehehee) msg me up anish if u want to know more.. i know lots of bodyshops on the westcoast they might have connections in the east ... i can check it out for ya.. lates..

i had my whole car done for about $3000 CAD. but that included about 20 golf ball dents all over the body and a new hood. due to a freak hail storm my poor car got hit hard. insurance covered the whole thing though. so i'm guessing that the paint job itself was maybe $2000 - 2300 Canadian?
