Shocks or springs?

My 93 is bouncing all over the place in the rear when I go over bumps. I feel like the car is going out of control. I am thinking that its the shocks but can it be the springs also? Do springs wear out? Thanks.

Have you ever had them replaced before?
Yes springs can go bad, buit to be on the safe side take yout car to Midas or to any suspension shop to have them take a look at the problem, but lets hope "the car bouncing around everywhere" is not a more serious problem.

your springs/struts are most likely dead

and your sway bar links (116$ each!)

i got some strut and springs from the scrap yard (off a 95 and they work great)

Sounds like worn sturts. If it were springs, your car would be saggy too
