Replacing V6 camshaft seals

I had my 99 V6 into the local dealer for the 90K service- replacing timing belt, water pump, etc. I elected to have the front crankshaft seal and the front camshaft seals replaced. For this last item I furnished four Toyota camshaft seals. When the work was completed there were two camshaft seals left over. I asked the service department about this and was told "The Camry V6 only has two camshafts- and the four-cylinder only has one!" What yahoos! So can anyone offer a theory as to why they only replaced two camshaft seals. I'm headed back to the dealer and could use some input. Thanks- Richard W.

Each head has two camshafts. Only one cam extends out of the head and attaches to a pulley. This cam drives the other via internal gears.

^ what he said

you can see the individual cams only when you take off the valve covers- otherwise, you'd think that the engine was an sohc instead of a dohc
