I believe Ratko had major knock sensor problems when he was at the dyno. The fact that his ECU was thrown into limp mode (still running on A/T ECU) and running 5 deg BTDC of timing across the powerband didn't help the power either.
My estimate would be at least 165+ WHP if Ratko fixes the ECU problems.

the other day i ran against a civic w/ an engine swap, he ran a 15.2 in the 1/4mile. i had a car length on him by 60... looks like i need to get my butt to the track

Approximately 10% more power to the wheels with a 5-spd over an auto.
If you beat a Civic that ran 15.2 you should do very well at the track. One thing to remember about a lot of cars, especially lighter Hondas, is that their street trim is very different from track trim, where the conditions are controlable. They usually strip the interior to a certain degree, run with 1/4 tank or less, reducing weight a bit. But of course I cannot generalize.
On street trim, assuming he drove it to the 15.2 perfection against you, he might be more in the mid-high 15s.
But the fact that you have a 3VZ 5-spd, which I have always been impressed with, might give you some awesome times. Remember, the 3VZ has oodles of low end torque, which is another reason you owned the Civic to 60.

thanks for the heads up! i am going to remove all that i can, including my spare wheel... im going to run the tires at 30psi (or should it even be lower?) and i will probably be running on a half tank of gas. i will still be happy with a low 15 i just want to have something concrete to retort to the people telling me my car is #1 choice for old librarians...

Weight reduction can help a lot. Tire pressure can be lower for you... closer to 20 psi. I haven't run mine lower than 24psi yet but I know guys who have less power than me and run 18psi... and of course get better 60' times... inflate rears to like 50psi...
I think you'll surprise a few people if you can drive your car well.
I personally do not do any weight reduction. I want to know how fast my car is at all times... so I run street trim... drive in and right upto the line... no messing around except for front tire pressure.
