Where does this wire go?

There is a black wire, with a plug in the middle of it, that must be a ground for something. Just not sure what. You can see it coming off the hook on the left hand side of the engine. The wire and plugs are passing just to the right of the alternator.

I think it may just get attached where the power steering resrvoir attaches to the body wall, but could someone let me know for sure?

it goes from the frame to the hook.. just a grounding wire
