Ya' know what gets me? Even though nearly every Civic has 'em (among other cars), I sure wish they had altezza tail lights for the 2nd gen. Camry. I wonder what they'd look like? I must admit that I get jealous when I see cars pass with those clear tail lights, because none are made for mine. It's just not fair! >.< I know I'd buy some if they had 'em. I know they got those GTS tail light covers and GTS cover styling kits, but I personally would like the clear tail lights better. Anyone know anything about how we fellow gen. 2ers could get some, or get some made? I would start a group buy if I knew how. Can anybody help me out here? I figure that, since there was a group buy among fellow gen. 2ers that resulted in custom carbon fiber hoods for the gen. 2 Camry, I don't think asking for altezza tail lights would be way too out there.

I doubt you will ever get a group buy for gay allteza lights. To get a group buy going to have to get enough people interested in them and since most people on this forum don't like rice stuff you are not going to get enough people together for altezzas. What you should do instead is the thing that most people don't do which is leave your lights alone and worry about real performance for your car.
i beg to differ with him, i think that you could get enough people to set up a group buy with, so lets just see how many would actually go for it before going any further
But you cant lie you know it was tight when it first came out, I thought they were cool as hell until everybody started getting them and well I guess they got played out and its nothing special anymore. The thing I hate the most are cars with them on and everything else is left stock.
Well, love 'em or hate 'em, I personally like altezzas. Ricey or not, I'm going to have some performance behind the looks. Anyway, I'm curious as to how many would to like to be in a group buy for custom altezza tail lights for the gen. 2 Camry. If I see enough interest (around 10-20 people) I'll see what I can do to get a group buy going here.

If anyone is interested, e-mail me at xavior66@hotmail.com with your e-mail address so I can keep a list of those interested and keep everyone informed on how this group buy develops.

No it wasn't, I've always hated them and always will. Rice needs to die!
Dammit, those things are NOT EURO LIGHTS. People misuse the term all the time. I guess it should be called "altezza lights" or "rice lights" but they are not EURO LIGHTS.
Euro lights are headlights and taillights approved for EUROPEAN COUNTRY USE, as the code over there is very strict.

whatever, they're ugly whatever you want to call them.
Well, I liked them when they came out on the Altezza. I don't like them anymore, everyone's got them and "everyone" obviously refers to Honda garbage.
If there's any style of custom taillight that would look Ok, that would be the nice dark carbon look. I'd go for that over the chrome Altezza look. Would look good with my Charcoal gray Gen2.
Altezza lights looked great when they only belonged to a Altezza. Then the aftermarket (AGAIN) kissed gay Honda ass by catering to the Honda chumps; thus again using another Toyota style to make more rice.
Although I lean more towards performance over looks, some looks aren't a bad thing if they are done right.
If there's any lighting to consider (aside from my posted suggestion), how about white front corner lights made to fit US spec Gen2? I'd also wouldn't mind projector headlights if they could be made.
Just feedback....
