Can anyone answer this question?

Ok. i was watching Initial D, and it got me thinking.
Corolla Trueno = ae86 and it's called 86
Civic Hatchback = EG6
Civic Coupe = EK
Prelude = BB6
Nissan 180 = 180
Nissan 240 = Silvia and S13, S14, S15
mr2 = sw20.... ETC ETC

NOW WHAT IS A CAMRY CALLED. GEN 1 THROUGHT 5.

hope it's not a stupid question.

not sure about gen 2 and 1 but gen 3 i think is sxv10 and mcv10

gen 4 is mcv20?? not sure either...

all the cars have a chasis code its how they make parts for it.. so they know it was made for that chasis... ( esp since some cars share the same chassis)

My gen 2 is a SV22, but its not a station wagon.

SV22 = LE model. SV21 = base and DX model.

Don't know why its different, but it is.
