i have been trying to find out where i can get a carbon fiber hood for my car, i just cant seem to find out where i can get one. anyone please help me. i really want one i know thet there was a group buy a while back but who did it go through? please help.........of its for my 1990 camry

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Stickydiljoe was the guy who started up the group buy for the carbon fiber hoods for the gen. 2 Camry. Get in touch with him.

Yea Stickdiljoe was the person who organized the last one. There were some people who got the hoods but dont' have their camrys anymore since they took so long to make. yo ucan try to find one fo those people to buy a hood from, or you can try to get together another group buy, don't know how successful you'll be since most people don't have 700$ to drop on a hood.

I think it was MB Autosports who did the hoods. There's a post on them showing interest already. I hope there's enough interest, for I wouldn't mind having one for my Gen2 V6.

I done some mild mods to my Gen2 V6, but I have a lot more planned down the road. As far as the 88 4cyl I have, it's my daily driver, but I still tinker a little here and there. More maintenance than anything. The daily driver has wheels though and I picked up parts for it, but I haven't put most of them on yet.

I wouldn't mind having a cf hood. The stock hood is to damn heavy and mine has little paint chips all over it.

Gen. 2 carbon fiber hood group buy? I'm in on it! Normally I wouldn't thrown down so much money for something like a hood (unless of course it looked just plain wicked), but since gen. 2 carbon fiber hoods are extremely rare (there were, afterall, only few made), I would more than be happy to participate in a group buy for something this rare. I'm with you 100% FRITO, let's get this thing going!

That hood is for a 3rd gen camry and these guys want one for a 2nd gen camry which is 87-91. Try to pay attention when you read next time.

What does the title say c....f...hood "CARBON FIBER HOOD". Right. I didn't see a certain year or generation before i opened the thread. do you see one. so how many people do you think would come in here that would have a higher generation camry. Thats why i opened it because i wanted to see if there were posts of links or information for any generation camry. So whats wrong with posting (92-01). Maybe you should think more before you speak. But if it hurts your intelectual beliefs. Then i'll start another thread for you okay.
