cig lighter

i had a flat tire cause someone took out the air, and then the AAA guy came with a Compressor to pump air into the tire, he pluged it into the cig socket and it was working then like 5 mins later it turnd off, then he left and i drove to a gas station and put 44psi into the tire, but then today like 5 days later i go to plug in my cellphone adaptor into the lighter and it doesnt work, i tried it in the van and it does work, i have a 94 camry LE, i checked the cig fuse (i think) and its okay...someone help?

i'd say its more than likely the fuse, if not, then you burned the wiring somewhere in there

44psi? that's nuts dude, i mean 32-35 is normal, i was running on 40 for using the middle of my tires, but you better let some air out, or first big hole you hit you're going to blow it again

Well 17's do too . I have low profile tires and I run them at 41 fronts and 40 psi. back. Anything lower than that is like riding on ur rims !! That is worse on 18's cuz u have les air and rubber between the road and the rim.

i have 18s and i usually run like 40-45 psi...
about the cig lighter not working... check the cig/radio fuse. if that is fine, then the problem lies within wiring. open up that panel and take a look at the wires. take a look at the actual lighter socket, the bottom connection could have gotten messed up some how, ive seen that happen. also, in my car my cigarette lighter did the same thing, i ended up running new wires, pos and neg, to the cigarette lighter. My problem was in the wiring, but i didnt have the patience to look for it. GOOD LUCK!
