I'm being force to spend my own money on a car i have no knowledge of because of complicated reasons. But as of now my future car will be a 94 Camry 2.0L 2 doors. Can anyone tell me anything about it. Like the specs or anything at all because i have no idea watsoever of this machine. Thanks a lot
i don't think they ever made a 2L engine in a camry, there's a 2.2L though, 2dr camrys are rare, its not a fast car, how much you paying for this anyways?
Thanks a lot of all the help. Unlike other forums where they just talk about crap that everybody knows you guys are great. I'm not sure about the car because my mom asked a chief mechanic that work for Toyota to find me one. So he called and told me there's a 94 camry 2 doors. He told me it only has around 60k on the current engine because of an engine swap...same as the stock though. All he told me is that it's 2.0L and around $3,300. That is why I'm here since they're a lot of knowledgeable ppl here. BTW...I totally trust Toyota...great engine...i have a Corolla 87 that's still running and has 230k on it. The only problem is that I'm sure the Camry I'm getting can't be fast. I'm not going to do some stupid illegal street racing but just increase the HP to make it lil above average. I'm into autocross more but i doubt it can do any autoXing. But when I get it I'm going to change the suspensions and might add a coilover system if my pockets aren't too shallow(haha) and tires for better handling.
good job and good luck hope to see ur cam autoX ... btw regarding the 2.0 engine swap someone has done that here.. i've read it somewhere before that there was one forsale just didnt know who or where it was... but someone swapped the 3sfe into the gen3
the cost would be similar in fact 3sfe and 5sfe are bolt ons for the manifold.. but u still have to work out the internals.. because both engines are not made to handle a turbo unit... ask 88LE for the 3sfe turbo i think he did it...
