L.E.D. Tail/brake light & 3rd brake light conversion project

I am getting ready to start this project for my Gen 3. I wanted to see if any one else may be interested, so that I can try to get a discount on the parts needed. I am planning on using about 12 super-bright white/clear LEDs in a circular pattern around the circumference of a soda can, for maximum brightness and ease of installation. For the 3rd brake light, I plan on using a double row of LEDs the width of the stock housing so that it will fit easily. I've seen some Hondas that have used LED truck/trailer light assemblies to do this, but they said that it was hard to install & it didn't look that good in the stock housings, so I don't want to use those. I've had good luck using LEDs in my instrument panel, turn signals, and side marker/turn signals, and people have said that they are brighter and are easier to see at night and especially when it rains really hard here in FL, so I hope that the tail/brake light project works as well.

I might be interested in pickup up some LEDs if they aren't to expensive. I'd also liek to know what u did for making those blinkers and running lights.

Exclamation

goto www.superbrightleds.com

They can supply you with good LEDs.

I have bought the multi-LED 194 superbrights and single LED 194's from them and they work great at a fraction of the price that NOPI and every other big place asks.

My neighbour bought some from them too and he likes them. I think he got 1157 or 1156 flashing LED bulbs.

Try them, you'll like them

Cheers,
