for those who purchased TRD struts, do you still remember if the rubber thing (the thin piece of rubber that sits on the strut where you put the spring on) comes with the TRD strut, or do we reuse that rubber thing from the stock strut?
The reason why I ask is that I can only find 1 of this rubber thing, the other 3 are missing, they are either put back with the stock strut (which means they forgot to put this one back).. or they forgot to give me back the other 3.

If you are talking about the big thin peice of rubber b/w the spring and the strut on top of which the spring sits - you should have all of them from the OEM setup and reused all of them for the TRD struts. Same applies for the top rubber sleeve.
If they gave you back only one, is it possible it was damaged and they replaced it and kept the other threee in? You need these things or you'll have noises...
The bump-stop that is a thick (white in my case) small conical piece of rubber that goes on the strut shaft inside the top rubber sleeve should be reinstalled on the stock struts. It was not needed for the TRD struts as they have it built-inside them. You need this for the stock or other non-TRD red struts, because it gives you protection when the car bottoms-out.
