windshield glass

Hi Everyone,

I just found that there are many white dots in my car's windshield glass. These are possibly hit by small stones in high way. Does your cars have the same problem? Is it possible that these white dots will cause the whole windshield glass to break later?

I didn't pay attention to it before. But suddenly I found it, making me worreied.

My car's windshield does not have many white dots scattered about.
If it makes you worried, perhaps you can inquire to your insurane agent about getting some kind of deal on a windshield replacement.

are they spots or cracks? How many? Usually it its a tiny crack they can come to your house and fix it... just depends...

Those are small spots, not like a small crack. But if I drive facing the sun, these spots are pretty clear and annoy me.

Once I drove behind a truck in highway. The truck fall some particles down and hit my windshield grass. That might be the reason that these spots are produced. That damned truck fall stuff down and speeded to pass me twice.

Generally these spots are not easily observed.

the white dots you see are pits in the glass form the rocks on the road.the more you are on the road the more you get.the only problem i have had is it pisses me off in the sun.you cant fix it. after time you will get mad and get a new windshield.
