Fender Gap & Lowering Springs

Well I'm now looking for lowering springs for my gen 3, I want to improve the handling, a stiffer suspension, since i like driving around back mountain roads, I also want to get rid of some of the fender gaps. I'm leaning towards h&r springs, since they have a good reputation but if you have better suggestions I'm open. Also what are the h&r eurospec blau springs. Here's a pic of the gap now.
