your question is as vague as it could be IMO. So ill answer it in all respects....

The current V6 in the new Camry is the 210hp VVT-i w/ 5spd auto, which is directly from the ES300.

The previous version V6 was non VVT-i w/ 192hp 4spd auto.(the 4th gen Camry(97-01) V6 was basically then same, but with 194hp.)

The curent 4cyl is the 157 hp VVT-i w/ 4spd auto/5spd manual.

The previous 4cyl was non VVT-i 133hp w/ 4spd auto/5spd manual.

__________

Hope this answers your question.

SC CAMRY-Simonwang

aye wussup simonwang,
the sc for 97-01 should be able fit in but there might be a problem with tranny. is yours m/t or a/t. if it's m/t i don't think there will be a problem, but a/t i don't know if the tranny can handle it. it might slide or blow it. but i'm not sure on that.

TRD produced two superchargers for the 1MZFE engine for 97-2001 camrys. A M/T and a A/T version.
in theory, since the engines are the same, I don't see a problem.

However, if you don't know what a supercharger is................. .then IMO you shouldn't have the privilege of being able to own a supercharger.

Don't mean to be so harsh. But, Do you even think you'll need that extra power? Do you know how a supercharger works? When you pay $3000 for the s/c, and then realize that you might just have to decipher all that techy instructions and assemble it yourself. Do you know your way around your engine well enough.

Another issue, since you own a pretty new camry, I'm not sure if the s/c will void your factory warranty. Might wanna check on that.
