possible suspension Problem?

Ok I think I might need some new struts or coil springs, Im not to sure?. When I want to accelerate really fast and I step on the gas all the way, the rear suspension sinks down alot and the front rises up alot. I Know that most cars will do this but mine seems to do it more than usual.
I want to try and eliminate as much of this effect as possible to keep the car more level while accelerating.
Do I need a new suspension, possibly lowering springs.

I thought Id ask before jumping to any conclusions

hmm seems like your rear struts are completely toast
do you have any bottoming out issues or is it a smooth ride?
i would advise you order some new rear struts, but you might as well do every corner to even things out and add some lowering springs to either stiffen your ride up or provide better handling
go with Tokico HP Blues or KYB GR_2's for struts and depending on the amount of drop you want check the Camry FAQ for the spring and strut combination guide, that will tell what you need
im in the process of doing a full upgrade/suspension tune myself and it sould turn ou quite well

It does seem like a smooth ride, and I have never bottomed out but came pretty close. Maybe it is time for some new struts then. But I definetly want to get some lowering springs Ive been lookin at intrax lowering springs and KYB GR2's.
is there any easy way to test struts

ok well you made a good choice cause im going with intrax as well since i want a nice drop
as for testing, i suppose you can only rip them off your car and test the rebound without the spring mounted - when i installed my shit lowering springs(never buy dropzone) 3 of my 4 struts would slowly "fall" and i would have to pull them back to the top - that was such a bummer hehe

check this out:

thats NOT right

so all i can say is buy GR-2's if that what you want and get intrax or some other good quality spring, as i am doing the same

i believe the other fellow is right, its probably just your struts that need replacing. They are a normal wear item of course, while the coil springs are not - normally the coil springs are good for thousands and thousands of miles. The coil springs are very well made, of excellent quality steel on most cars and as a result, i have never seen a broken or worn out one except maybe on 1960's vintage cars with a billion miles. So chances are your springs are fine , you just need struts all around.
