9005 Conversion, done.

I checked out my bulbs this morning, and they both were burnt out. Odd that they happened at the exact same moment, but hell, they were $15 USD off of eBay, so no biggie. Anyways, went to the parts store this morning, got me some 9005 Silverstars and went to town on them, with only an x-acto knife. Hell yea. 30 minutes later they're in the car and shining bright. I can't wait until tonite...

so wait the right ones to use are the 9006's right? Well, does that mean that 9005's are for high beams? does that make it NOT street legal?

9006 is low beam, 9005 is hi. I'm not sure on the legality, but since they're in the low beam socket, they'll be shining on the road like a low beam, not in peoples eyes, like a hi beam.
