installing short ram intake

does anyone know where to place the brace to keep the intake up and not scratch up my engine bay.

Or you can try the battery clamp, if you can bend that thick piece of metal with ease.

Somewhere around 45 or so. If you can, cut off some of it or it'll almost cross the battery.

the little brace they gave me isn't that long to reach across the battery. right now i have it hanging from the bolt that holds that stick to hold the battery in one place. its bent and doesn't look right, thats why i'm asking for advice.

did you twist your brace? if you did, why did you do that for? is it suppose to be like that? oh yeah, thanks for the advice the wolf. you've been alot of help.

NP. I did have to bend mine rougly 45 degrees. My Ractive brace is about 1/8 inch thick, so the bending didn't/couldn't hurt it much, if any. It's plenty thick enought to handle the pressure.

thanks alot man. i bent it about 45 like you said. it was hell to bend but i got it like the pic of your intake brace. now the intake actually sits right. thanks
