ATF Cooler

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3221877&rd=1,1

Should I go for it? Or just pay more and get the B&M cooler?

Thanks

Not quite.

The one in the link above shows a cooler with tube & fin construction. Theres also bar & plate / stacked plate.

Bar & plate construction is better. Size being the same, bar & plate has more surface area.

These tranny coolers are basically mini radiators for your auto tranny fluid. These coolers help in extending the life of your auto tranny. Search here in TN for more info.

I think it will go infront of your A/C condenser, somewhere with good air flow.

that's fair enough

but I guess I'm referring more to the fact that they all work the same way and do the same thing...the only thing that would make a difference in choosing them would be if size is a factor for fitment's sake or if you want one with an oil temperature thermostat or something along those lines

You can get a fancy or a cheap kind. Any kind is better than none esp in the summer. The alternative is to change your ATF often (20,000 m) or whenever you think it might be burnt by driving conditions you've recently done (image = Kraegen auto parts)
