I was thinking about running 2 mufflers out the back of the car and running custom bent pipes. who makes a good universal muffler with good sound but without the pissed off weedeater sound? Also should i run a high flow cat or not?

I have nothing intelligent to say about the dual mufflers, but Magnaflow has good mufflers at reasonable prices. Basically, the larger the muffler, the deeper the sound.

Do you have 4cyl or V6? Did you plan on doing a true dual exhaust (all the way) or just dual mufflers?

i am definitely getting duals, but i dont really know what kind of exhaust i want. i will be recieving the shogun rear tomorrow sometime (hopefully), and i hate the look of a dual muffler bodykit w/ one muffler. so that means im gonna get duals :smile: . i really want to be freakin loud, so i think what im gonna do is have the shop build me a custom cat back, with no resonator, and a Y pipe towards the middle of the car. im keeping stock diameter (2.5" i think) b/c i wont be turbocharging my car ever. i need some sort of backpressure! anyway the mufflers im getting include silencers- but for a N/A or s/c engine should i do the Y or get true dual exhaust??

o yea and my car is a 92 v6 5spd :smile:
