17" Wheels & Tires... I Need your help!! also FuzionHRI vs. Nexenn3000 vs.Falkenze512

Hi guys. I just ordered a set of 17"x7.5 alloys to replace my 205-65-15 stock steelies with hubs. The car is a 2003 Camry.

I used the tire calculator and came up with either 225-50-17 or 215-50-17 as an appropriate tire size. The 225's are 1.4% too slow and the 215's are 0.1% too fast. Is it dangerous to have it too fast? Also, would 215 be too narrow for a 7.5" wide wheel. Offset is 45.

Also, roadnoise and comfort is very important to me. There is only a 0.2 inch difference in the sidewall height between the two. Will this make a noticable difference in ride comfort and roadnoise? I'm on a budget, and I want the Fuzion HRI but its only made in 215-50-17. If I end up getting

Thanks, your expertise is greatly appreciated.

as long as it's not over 3% either way it's fine ... road noises depends on the tire

you should go with a reputable brand name tire like bridgestone, michelin, continental, etc... after all tires are an important component of a car... also you're making it hard on yourself... you can just go on tirerack.com and get a wheel/tire package that's matched up with your car... no need to have to worry about tire sizes and whatnot...
