Indiglo Gauges

Alright this is really weird, I'm trying to install indiglo gauges into my 2000 camry. I got the cluster out and put the gauges in, that was the easy part. Now I'm trying to do the electrical and I can't seem to get it to work.

I found the parking light wire in the back of my gauges console, but when I plug the red wire from the indiglo transform into it and the black wire from transform into a bolt on the car they don't light up. I tried also connecting the black wire from transformer to a black wire in the gauge console and red wire from transform to parking light wire with no luck. I also connected red wire from transform to tail light fuse and black wire to bolt in car, no luck.

The lights are on and I connect a volt meter to the parking light wire
and the bolt, I get around 12 to 13 volts (can't tell exactly because its an analog volt meter, buts its definetly more than 10V). I connect the volt meter to parking light wire and black wire in gauge console, also get 12-13 volt. I then tried connecting the black wire from the transformer to bolt in car,
positive wire from volt meter to parking light wire and negative wire from
volt meter to red wire on transformer, got 12-13 volts.

I connect the red and black wire from indiglo gauges to a 9V battery they light up. So electricity is going through all the connection I've tried and the gauges are working fine.

I'm completely stumped, what can be wrong?
