Anyone here had to get their Automatic Climate Control fixed?

The automatic climate control in my SC'd 2000 XLE V6 is stuck on full blast. When set it to auto at 75 Degrees F, the AC goes to full blast and never comes down. And of course, the warranty ran out a few months ago. Doh!

I have a feeling the thermostats haev gone bad but I have no idea where they are.

My car does suck now. I have to use AC in manual mode. Often it is too cold or too hot. Damn I miss my automatic climate control. I need to get it fixed ASAP.

A few years ago I had a similar experience, which is one of the reasons my present Camry is an LE with a nice simple manual system. Just the parts alone for my repairs were $750 from dealer and $400 from a yard I found on the internet. Then there's labor. And my wty had just expired too. Do you think they're programmed to self destruct just after wty expiration? I'm afraid that at this point, you're:
