Help me with Car maintenence

What should I use for my 03 v6 se?

Ive already got the meguiars gold car wash

what type of wax would you guys recommend for a black car?

And how long does it take?

i always use mothers. i have a dark green car, so its pretty similar to black i guess

it takes however long you want it to take, depending on how long you let the wax dry and how much detailing you give it.

dude there was just a huge hail storm here... grape sized hail!! my car was outside because our solara and taco live in the garage!! pray for hail damage wohoo!!! insurance money for a new factory paint job here we come!!

since you hav a black car, using a pure carnuba wax would be best. it would bring out a deeper shine in any darker colour car.

polymer is man-made wax, carnuba wax is from nature: found in brazil.

it depends. polymor waxes give more shine on lighter colours while carnuba gives more depth on darker colours. why not get the best of both worlds and put a layer of polymor ontop of carnuba?

great auto-detailing group. i learned quite a bit reading the posts.
