Well earlier today I decided to go to the local junkyard to see what other stuff I could pick off some of the wrecked gen. 2 Camrys. Little did I expect what I would actually find.
There, sitting at the front of the junkyard, was a 1990 Toyota Camry LE V6! It was in great condition, and definetly had a rebuildable title to it. No one had picked anything off of it yet and I talked to one of the guys who worked at that junkyard and he said that they had just recently got it in. It used to belong to somebody who wanted to sell it, but since he/she couldn't find a buyer, he/she just donated it to the junkyard! Talk about my lucky day!
I checked it all out and looked inside it. It had everything....
Electric sunroof with sunroof windshield, factory issued alarm, ECT, power rear-view mirrors, power door windows, power locks, courtesy door lights, *leather interior*, cruise control, multi-position adjustable seats, flipable rear seats, just everything!
The only problems I could readily see with the car was that whoever previously owned this car really didn't do much to take care of the leather seats, as there are several small cracks here and there on the front seats, but the back seats seem to be ok.
I popped the hood and had a look at the engine. It was all good looking. It was missing a battery, but that's no big deal (cuz I figure it could always be missing a lot more than just the battery!

) Other than that, there were no visual faults, other than the engine just being dirty and the hood's heat insulator was torn. The front grille was also broken, but I have a spare that I can easily slap on to replace it. Tomorrow I'm gonna go back to the junkyard and the guy I talked to should have most of the info I'll need and people to contact so I can soon own this baby!
Now yes, I know I already own a 1991 Toyota Camry. But it's a 4 cylinder, and it was the base sedan and pretty much the cheapest trim you could possibly get. :o Plus it's not everyday that I run across a gem like this!

Eating your lunch you bought on an airplane-$50.00
Losing your lunch from the airplane's cuisine, but not having a paper bag-Priceless
For everything else, there's paper bags!
