No they don't put shock sensors on. They do have a glass breakage sensor as an option.

Microphone is correct not vibration sensor. It listens for a specific frequency of sound and is therefore useless if someone is to jack up or tow your car. Vibration or shock sensors feel for vibrations in the body panels, usually via a mercury switch.

I would avoid any alarm that does not have a pager. Alarms go off so often that they are almost part of the background noise in the cities and few people pay attention to them anymore.

Check out some of the posts in the Audio/Video Security forums here on TN. We have some real guru's in that field that can point you to the right equipment.

I would probably check with the dealer. I know you don't have the same year as me, but before my DEI, I had an Alpine stock system that had a shock sensor, the only one I've ever seen in a stock alarm.

well i have a gen 3, 94 le also, well i never told u guys before but like 2 weeks ago some fckn kid i know but cant get proof on came to my car at like 1am(i was playing ps2 and i heard the car go off when i died in the game, i ran to it when it was too late), so at 1 am he came and with a hammer or maybe the end of a screwdriver he shattered my Mirrors, left and right side, and the alarm went off with him just hittn the mirrors, i have a stock alarm, with the sensitivity set to 5, but now i set the sensitivity to 10, that mofo even walks near it, ill blow, and remember i asked for Louder horn in a previous topic? that was soo it can blow his fckn ear drums apart...
