Headlights, taillights and center piece, different engine in the i4 line (3sfe -> 5sfe) different front gril, different front blinkers and running lights, different front lip. that's about it i think.

v6 changed too, 3vz-fe to the 1mz-fe


cast iron block with big beefy internals, to wimpy aluminum block with tiny rods,

and theres always the seemingly random sealed/serviceble strut fiasco

they look rather similar, except that the 3.5 dosen't have orange, but that could be paint, or removed...

yeah the gen 3 tail light is a dual layer tail light while the gen 3.5 is a single layer tail light
