Question Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror

This was posted a while ago on here... http://www.brandsport.com/audiremi1.html Has anybody tried to put this on a gen3 without a windshield-mounted rear view mirror? Mine's mounted on the roof about 1 inch behind the windshield, about like it is in the sample picture...... I would love to have on eof these for $50. If you e-mail the company, they'll send you the installation instructions. Thanx.

Have you checked with Toyota dealer how much it cost ?
The rear mirror with dimmer and compass is standard on Gen 5 XLE and maybe it is on special version SE.
This should be ok for your Gen3.

I COULD go for the dealer's rear-view and get raped... No thanks, I'd rather buy this $50 special and try to fit it onto my existing mirror. I just wanted to know if anyone else had tried this. And I'm sure the dealer's mirror is about $300+....
