Loss in low-end power

Recently I have noticed a loss in my low-end power, but it kicks back at around 3000 - 3500 RPM. My car is an 87 with a stock 3SFE. I have tried fuel injector cleaner and oil treatments. Any ideas about what's going on with my car would be helpful. Thanks

Most Toyota cars reach their peak HP at 3000-3,500 rpms. I had the same engine in a 87 Celica. My low end rpms weren't bad, but they were not good ither....mabey a tune up?

i have a blown avalon and i have notice a great decrease in my low end power until about 2500rpm, and its killing me off the line! im getting smoked by every POS out there. I am trying to figure out whats wrong, I checked vacuum hoses, but didnt see anything there, could it be a faulty fuel pump or dirty filter?? I have no idea, any suggestions ?? or has anybody experienced this before? thanks

Just had a tune-up and replaced my leaky fuel pressure regulator, could that be it? The fuel filter was replaced about 1500 mi ago.
