On this site you can find brass shifter bushings for the 3vz engine others found in the 92-93 V6 camry. I was having a lot of problems with shifting such as accuracy speed, and overall comfortable shifting while racing or just in normal driving. Well after installing these things(took me 10 min max), I noticed an unbelievable change in my shifter. Now I do have a custom short shifter but this was awsome. I know there were concerns about fitting and such, but I had no problems and they require no modifications on the 3vz engine.
Now let me go ahead and state that a while ago when my shifting problems first showed I took my car to get the origonal bushings checked out.....they said no problems and they looked to be in great condition. Well I did the mod any way and I am a very happy guy!!!! This is by far the best 26$ I have ever spent on the car, and I think on of the best mods I have even done as far as feel and performance goes! Not to mention they shipped in about 2 days. I am overly happy about this mod and stand by the product because these things are great quality and fit. They add a great tightness and stable sort of shifting that is demanded when racing or just normal driving! I was gonna do a trans. swap and now I feel no need now that I have these bushings. Now Im not saying this will prevent you from having to swap trans or rebuild but I am saying try this first because u will be surprised, and delighted!
Its actually crazy that such a lil cheep mod such as this would perform so greatly but trust me it does! I know Jon was also having trubbles shifting in his 3vz....and Jon get these now!!! No lie these are great, and no I dont have ties to the company at all but I do look forward to more of their products!
