Help w/ Anti Sway Bar Link????

Hey guys I started to put in my new struts and springs yesterday. I got through with the first set with no real hassles. While attempting to do the right rear I hit a snag. The hex screw inside of the swaybar link assembly stripped out on me. Before I knew it it was dark so now Im stuck with one out of the four lowering springs on my car. Does anyone know where I can get the swaybar link assembly without paying an arm and a leg through the dealership? ANY Help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks

yeah that happende to me too.... if you cant get the top link of the sway bar link try the bottom link or visversa,
for some reason the swaybar end seems to be easier.....

as for the rusted half loose end i just used a piece of copper wire, flattened it and shimed it around inbetween the bolt,

ghetto but better then 350 for a pair of new ones

I stripped mine as well when I tried to change my rear anti-sway bar myself. The bolt was totally stripped. I brought it to T-lex, they heated it up and removed it with their impact gun, no tricks or anything.

I tried heatin it up and used an impact wrench too. How much did you pay for the replacement?

order them from sean (soundlzrd). he can get them from canada but he can get you a lot better deal than dealer price, and they are better quality too.

trust me, i bought mine from him because i had the exact same problem that you did (stripped hex)

I like a hack saw and hammer. As for the links i can get them, total they are about 70ish plus shipping, thats less than one link from a dealer and i like these better. Let me know. They are also up on my site @ www.ctmotorsport.com
