Yee haa! I finally finished them off so I thought I'd share some pics! Unlike others here (ahem, read: Tony, Ratko, Phi), I like to advertise my mods instead of keeping them ultra secret.
Well, I don't know how the beam pattern will be at night, but I don't expect much. The main problem is that the passenger side projectors both sit lower than the driver side...I'll have to fix that somehow, but I don't know how. The angel eyes can't be seen in the daylight like the bimmer's but at night they should look pretty cool. Otherwise, I must say that they look pretty creepy....
I honestly didn't think you'd be able to pull it off :o
It looks REALLY good! Try getting brighter LEDs to light up the angel eyes and make them really stand out.
I didn't think so either! *henry pats himself on the back* Remember that day you were outside my house and I said I might make them and you said to stick in angel eyes? I researched it that night and voila! Honestly, I still can't believe I made them! They're so beautiful....
The LED's are a bitch to work with...they are almost embedded in the ring. The guy I bought them off of cut off one of the resistors for the angel eye so I had to buy a new one...but Radio Shack doesn't sell that crap anymore! Anyway, I went to my basement and took apart some old cordless phones and found a resistor with similiar resistance...stuck that in...funny, I now know how to interpret all those funny bands on resistors. Anyway, I'll put on a lower rated resistor one day, I made it somewhat accessible to change.

Looking awesome man!
Just finished it today...pics are fresh! I'll take some creepy night pics tonight.
Didn't use that tutorial because nothing applied. I didn't make the angel eyes, I took them from aftermarket accord projectors with angel eyes and mounted them in.
Those DRL's look awesome You gotta re-align the lights though because the misalignment is pretty noticeable
