Talking Toyota Camry Scepter center garnish

Hey everyone. This is my first time visiting the camry forums. I heard there were quite a number of people interested in the Scepter center garnish.

How much are you guys willing to pay? I'm able to optain it.. but shipping from Japan is a pain to deal with! And I can only get them as they become available to me. So i can't take any requests as to the color/type/etc.

(only the silver one is available right now... please reply ASAP)

please move to the classified forum if neccessary. sorry in advance
thanks guys.
-Kevin

Yes, please let me know how much these are worth. I can get the silver one for anyone interested (this one is brand new btw). I was thinking more like $160-180 It costs me alot to bring these suckers over to Canada.

It's almost like bringing those Japanese Corolla taillights over to North America.. they sell around $300 over here I think. Most of it is due to shipping.

Let me know if it's too much... Cause I need to know ASAP.

Thanks everyone!

Haha, I'm talking $20 US so $30 CDN :p

I know that's ridiculously low though. I can't afford insurance right now so it's out of the question of me spending 5% of my insurance money on a panel.

Out of curiousity, would it be possible for you to just get the letters? Also do you know how they're stuck onto that back panel? Just glue or little nubs (can't think of the right word) and holes too?

Thanks for the interest! Sorry, I can't just get the letters. Haha I agree, that would save alot of money though... My Camry could use this too... but it's gold :P

There are little nubs on the back, yes... so i think you'll have to purchase the whole centerpiece anyway.

Does $160-180 CAN sound reasonable though? Because I'm not too familiar with Camry parts. Thanks!

Uhm... it's not being a poser, its just like putting the jap name onto your car. Like putting an Altezza badge onto an IS300, or calling an AE86 a hachi whatever.

Bastion, that fits the Gen3.5...

Uhm, I've seen the whole center panel go for $50+ US on ebay before (that includes the part that connected to the car, behind it and the red and white light covers and what not).

Haha okay I'll let you know when i find one that says BOYDINGTON

50 USD isn't bad actually... it's probably cheaper to wait for the next one to be sold on ebay... because i have a good feeling it will cost me more than 50 USD to bring these over, etc.

Well thanks for the interest anyway.. i'll let you guys know if i can find the ones that will fit the other gen. Camry

just get a gen 3.5 trunk lid? it looks better any way but the gen 3 front looks awesomely agressive, and with th back it make it even more well rounded?

i would like on but i don't know how much that is in USD, like 50 ok?
