Does anyone know of a good site to order a carbon fiber hood for 92-96 camry??? I found one for 500 shipped. . . .let me know if you know of any cheaper or if you know of a site that did not send a shitty hood. thanks guys

Maybe importfan, or NOPI but if you wait a bit like im doing(because I have the money to get one too) I am trying to start a GB for hoods with scoops, and so are some other people so maybe one will pull through I have my carbon fibre dude working on a prototype so I can check quality and see prices!

TO be honest I hope you wait because the only reason these GBs dont pull through is due to lack of people and if we all be patient we can get a good deal and help something pull through for once!

I'm also looking for a carbon fiber hood. The only reason that's stopping me from getting my car painted is the hood. If I can find a CF hood for cheap and I mean like under 400 shipped I'd paint my car white. But if I can't find a CF i might as well go black with sparklies or something along those lines.

Hehehe....I think I just got about the best deal on my vis CF hood. I ordered one through a company called GXC Inc. The hood was 325 usd without shipping (which would have ran 105.00). They were suppose to send my info and order and have it dropped shipped to Vis (which meant vis would take the order and send it to me directly). I was orignally suppose to pay for shipping once the hood got to me. It took a month to get my order to me and while I was waiting, GXC Inc. moved to a new location and Vis gave me some big bs about being out of stock when other members here ordered their hoods after me and got it before me and I also called one week in advance to confirm if they had any in stock which i got a reply saying they had plenty. I called Vis and GXC every single day to check my order status and they sounded pretty hectic trying to find my info since GXC moved and im guessing, confused Vis. So finally the hood was in. Everything looked great, no blemishes, clean, and it was authentic from vis. But the funny thing is, there were no shipping charges on any reciepts nor for the shipping carrier. They didnt even charge my credit card or anything. I called the carrier to ask why they didnt charge me but they said that Vis was going to be charged for it. I called Vis and asked the same thing but they said that they would charge GXC Inc for it. So whatever happened there, I got a damn good deal unexpectedly except I had to sacrificed a month though.

i currently have a '96 hood for sale. it is burgundy with the hood squirters shaved off. it was repainted in march and looks perfect. i need to get rid of it since i dont have my camry anymore. ill kick you a good deal if you dont get a cf hood.
