New Paint Job!! need help deciding on wheels

I just got a new paint job on my car and I love it. some may not be crazy for the colours I chose, But I am. Its all black with about a 1 foot wide blue stripe all the way down the center.

what I need next are some rims, Im not to sure what would work well with a dark coloured car which is why Im asking here, hope you guys can give some input
I know it may be hard without pics but Ill get some soon as I can.
the wheels on it now are the stock 13in steel rims and the bolt pattern is 5x100.
I want to get 15" maybe 16" depending on what will fit the best
my budget is around $350 - $450 for just the rims

Sorry bro, but the blue looks out of place. You should of went with a more subtle stripe color.

The blue strip doesn't look too bad. I was thinking of doing something similar to my Gen1 in the future, but the center strip (the hood and back) is just simply too big. I must say that the black on that thing looks great, it's soooo glossy!!! One thing about the stock wheels (caps) on the Gen1 was that it just doesn't match black that well. Not sure what I'd would recommend though since lots of wheel design doesn't match too well with a Gen1.

Nice work I'd say.
