would it be practical to change between 2 different bumpers for winter/summer? one stock for the winter, and one with a lip for the summer?
cuz I'm thinking about getting a lip (MAYBE this year, probably next summer if this idea is feasible), but with our winters, I don't want to park my car cuz I'll have nothing else to drive.
and yes, I had given up on getting lips/kits and all that until I saw Ratko's car in person, and it all came back and the need to make it work
thanks for all your input in advance

That's a excellent idea. and yes it's not too much work to replace bumpers. and even if u buy a brand new stock bumper cover it's only ike 40 bucks. no need to paint it either. but that's my 2 cents.
i just use a car bra in the winter (but i have just a stock front). if you can get your hands on one and paint it... sounds like a good idea for any kitted Canadian driven car.
How exactly do you remove the front bumper? I tried to the other day but couldn't really do it. I need to straighten out that metal bar that supports it, its been a little bent since february when I hit a car...

As easy as it snds, laziness is one of humans best attribute You'll prolly get sick of taking the bumper off and on every season. Then again, if you're actually dedicated enough to stick to the plan, the idea is brillant. Go for it!
Check out junk yards for cheap bumper covers. Do I hear a junkyard meet?

Works great in the summer untill you hit one of those high sidewalks pulling into the 7-11 ... or a raccoon.

lol....some of us don't have that bad of luck....I did my bit of stupidity back in april......hit an island going about 70....went right on top of it, blew one tire, bubbled out another one, and dented all 4 of my rims.....
luckily after some good hammering, the rims are decently alright, but I still had to pay for two new tires.....for a split second of stupidity....

just thought I'd update a bit- the lip's in , but I'm still looking for a f*ckin' bumper.....probably just going to call some shops and see if they will cut me a deal if I order an aftermarket bumper from them and get my stuff installed+painted with them too....but gonna check standard first to check out the gen3 that's there...
wish me luck....I gotta finish this little "project" before school starts on the 8th or else I won't have time....worst come to worst, I'm going to put it on the bumper I have now and deal with getting another bumper later....
