I was reading through the earlier posts on projector and searched for some ideas. If people are looking to make custom projector headlights, like the ones Henry made then yyou might want to consider these. They already have a wiring harness that would work with our cars, and they are glass projectors that you could remove from the original housing.. I think these could work.. what do you all think?
i can wait for the ones coming from ctmotorsport. a 1 piece rally style including the corner light is just too appealing to put any money into custom projectors.
my biggest complaint about gen 3s is not in the headlight housing, its the frosted lens. the projectors from ctm give you the option to use no lens at all (rally style), or you are supplied with a clear lens that covers the corner and headlight housing similar to a scepter headlight- yet no FROSTING...
plus i also want to help sean out since the reason he founded ctmotorsport was for the sole purpose of creating projectors. if it were show season and people needed these projectos ASAP it would be a different story, but since its not- i dont see why people dont wait for a better product.
yea i am waiting for the ones from CTM also. But I haven't seen the mock up pics yet. I just know that some of us just can't wait and like to get things done soon. But I will say that Sean has been great in working on this project and I hope that they look tight!!!
I just thought that I would give some people that are looking to make some custom ones and idea of where to get projectors and all..

I used similar projectors to those ones, except that it only had one set of projectors in them, and angel eyes in the middle headlight....I only wish I bought the lights with 2 pairs of projectors! Seeing how I took those Accord projectors apart, I can almost guarantee that those projectors look exactly like mine. See my projector post to see the pics of the actual projectors. Now if you can find a used pair like I did on ebay.....
Guys,
I have been having computer issues with my own computer and my site. Hopefully i will get things worked out with verisign and i will be back on track.
As for the head lights, i am once again looking for someone new to make them, and think i have someone willing to make them so we can afford them. The other guy wouldnt not give us a price till he knew how long it would take to make. he wanted 600 CND for the housing, no lights. So, We are talking a another person all ready, cause i am tired of moving from place to place getting these done. I know some of you think its never going to happen, but i am doing whatever is in my power to get someone to make them. Please rememer, that is why I invested into the camry community and started CT Motorsport in the first place. I want to thank everyone who has supported me and kept the business afloat. I am doing everything to show you how serious i am about the projects i have brought up in the past. I should have a price on some hoods soon, one of which will have a scoop.
Sean
Gen. 2 Camry projectors would also be nice! It'd be much less of a pain in the arse than having to do an aussie front end conversion for the clear corners.

Well, the Austrailian versions of the gen. 2 Camry's parking lights are clear, whereas in the U.S. they have an orange "insert" in them. Also, the front bumper is somewhat different, and the turn signals are located in the middle of the bumper, as opposed to them being on the bottom of the bumper on the U.S. versions. Plus the headlights have built-in foglights. Ask phatcamry91le, he's done it.
