Hi, I just bought an Auto Dimming Mirror for my 98 CAMRY it's from a 2003 Thundra and it only comes with thurda installation instruction. does anyone have the installation instruction for the camry? i'm not even 100% sure if this will fit on my camry but it look exactly alike. any help will be appreciated.

I don't think it is "Camry-specific" but gives you the basics. As long as you can fit the mirror physically on the windshield, you should be able to hook the electric part to just about anywhere you want.

Let me know how it works out - I've been thinking about getting an auto dimming mirror too for my '00 LE, but want one with a compass and these aint cheap...

This was a Camry AD mirror w/compass installation in my friend's ES300, which later is the same as my Gen4.

Don't you need some kinda seonsor for the temp guage to work right?

The one that both my friend and I bought didn't have the temperature option, but there is an AD mirror with both temperature and compass. I didn't check whether the AD mirror with compass can adapt to add the temperature probe, though the display itself is capable of.

I asked cus' my xle v6 came with one..but my Se didn't...wanted to add that to my car!

very easy to install, auto dimming comes with 2 wires, one is ground, one is 12V+ power, and power most favorably tap into ignition wire, cus you only want the auto dimming mirror activated when the car key is at ON position.
